Meta’s new Ray-Ban Smart Glasses puts a camera on your face, giving viewers a vantage they have not seen before: your own. Emerging technology like smartphones, drones, 3D cameras, and now smart glasses allows us to shoot video content that would have been too expensive or too impractical just a couple of years ago.
To date, the POV shot required a helmet mounted camera setup that is impractical for most use cases and creatively…let’s just say, anytime soon we’re not likely to see Rihanna strapping on a rig for crowd shots from the stage or walking the red carpet, or Patrick Mahomes coming out of the huddle nestled into something like this -> Now in 2023 that same POV shot can be accomplished with just a pair of sunglasses. The Ray-Ban smart glasses are not only capable of recording video + audio, they can also be used in live streaming scenarios. Meta has enabled live streaming to Instagram and Facebook, but our tech team at Small Wonder Digital has developed workarounds to stream to all other platforms like TikTok and Youtube.
